New York
Petco, a pioneer in the pet industry since its establishment in 1965, is continuing its expansion following the challenges posed by the
COVID-19 pandemic. In its commitment to offering pets and their owners top-tier and luxurious pet care services, the company inaugurated its latest establishment – a two-story pet care center situated in New York City’s Union Square neighborhood.
This 25,000-square-foot facility is a complete transformation of the nearly century-old Tammany Hall and includes a retail section offering pet-related merchandise, a grooming salon, a veterinary clinic, and the exclusive “JustFoodForDogs” kitchen, dedicated to preparing nutritious meals exclusively for dogs. The store’s interior exudes an ambiance reminiscent of an upscale department store, fusing classical architectural elements with modern design concepts, and skillfully utilizing the iconic domed roof of the building, a local landmark.
Furthermore, the store features an adoption booth for both pets and their prospective owners, making it a store deeply rooted in the community.
