We are pleased to bring you a selection of unique real estate news from among the architectural topics that GARDE agents around the world send us on a regular basis. In this issue, we would like to share with you some news about a former beer brewery site.
Berlin
CRCLR House is a circular economy community space created on the site of a former beer brewery. The building, which was built by recycling and upcycling “trash” that was to have been discarded, is attracting attention. It is considered by many the architecture of the future. Not only does it reuse wood, steel, and other building materials left over after the brewery’s demolition, but it also makes it easy to reuse those materials for new buildings in the event of future renovations or demolition.
The first coworking space in a church in Germany and now famous digitalCHURCH in Aachen. The architecture is characterized by glass doors separating the entrance from the chapel for heat insulation, a boiler in the adjoining room, and a long table placed in the center to take advantage of the huge space. Hence, a new popular spot was born.
